The Stake.us VIP system looks intimidating from the outside — a long ladder of Bronze, Silver, Gold, a stack of Platinums, a stack of Diamonds, and then Obsidian sitting at the very top. But once you understand how it works, it's actually simple: your VIP level is based on how much you've played over time — your total Gold Coins played — and each tier unlocks better rewards. Here's the honest breakdown.

How you move up

Every game you play counts toward your lifetime total. Cross a threshold and you rank up to the next tier. You don't lose progress, and it's cumulative, so the climb is really just a running total ticking upward as you play for fun.

The important thing to understand: ranking up is a byproduct of playing, not a goal to chase. Playing more just to "reach the next tier" means playing more than you meant to — the fun should come first. The tiers and thresholds

These are the standard Stake VIP thresholds (total Gold Coins played to reach each tier):

• Bronze — 10,000 GC played
• Silver — 50,000 GC
• Gold — 100,000 GC
• Platinum I–VI — 250,000 up to 10,000,000 GC
• Diamond I–V — 25,000,000 up to 500,000,000 GC
• Obsidian — 1,000,000,000 GC

Yes, the top of the ladder is astronomical — Obsidian is for a tiny handful of the highest-volume players. Most people live in the Bronze-to-Gold range, which is where the rewards already start being worth claiming.

Rule of thumb: the lower tiers are easy and worth it; the upper tiers are for people already playing huge volume for their own reasons — never chase them.

What each tier gets you

Higher tiers generally unlock more and bigger recurring rewards — daily and weekly bonuses, rakeback, level-up bonuses, and a dedicated VIP host at the top end. Should you try to rank up faster?
